 The Kingdom of Thailand Welcomes Everyone in the World by Abolishing the Thailand Pass from July 1, 2022
The Kingdom of Thailand has introduced the Entry Requirements from July 1, 2022, along with the special requirements for Vaccinated, Unvaccinated and not fully Vaccinated Travelers from all over the World according to the Planned Entry.
Pre-Entry Requirements,
Vaccinated Travelers must present the following documents upon Entry into Thailand:
1- A Valid Passport or Border Pass for entry through Border Checkpoints.
2- A COVID -19 Vaccination Certificate.
3-Individuals 18 years of age or older must be fully Vaccinated against COVID -19 and should have received an approved vaccine at least 14 days prior to entry into Thailand.
4- 5 to 17 years old traveling Unaccompanied must be Vaccinated with at least one dose of an approved vaccine at least 14 days prior to Entry into Thailand. Those traveling with their parents are Exempt from these requirements:
A valid passport or border pass for entry through border checkpoints.
Required Entry Requirements,
All Travelers should submit to an inspection upon entry, which includes a body temperature check, and present the required documents to Immigration and Health Control Officers for inspection. However, Travelers entering with a Land Border Passport are only allowed to stay in the specified areas of the Kingdom of Thailand for 3 days. Similarly, Unvaccinated Travelers or not fully Vaccinated Travelers who can prove a Negative result of a RT-PCR test or a professional ATK test within 72 hours will be allowed to enter and move freely in the Kingdom of Thailand. Unvaccinated Travelers or Travelers who are not fully Vaccinated and cannot show a negative result of a RT-PCR test or a professional ATK test within 72 hours must follow the instructions of the Public Health Authority and the Guidelines that the health inspection official at the point of arrival deems appropriate.
While in Thailand,
While in Thailand, both Vaccinated and Unvaccinated or Under-Vaccinated Travelers should follow the instructions and measures of the Health and Safety Standards. Travelers who experience COVID -19 Symptoms must get Tested. If the test is Positive, they must seek appropriate Medical Treatment.
For Foreign Travelers Arriving on Schedule before July 1, 2022, the Following Rules for Entry apply:
Pre-Entry Requirements,
Covid-19 Vaccinated Travelers must have the following documents Upon Entry into Thailand:
1- A Valid Passport or a Border Pass for entry through Border Checkpoints.
2- A Thailand Pass through the official website, https://tp.consular.go.th/ as well as Thai people are also exempt from this requirement. Once all the required information is provided through this system, the QR code will be issued automatically without any waiting time.
3- Thai and Foreign Nationals who are insured under Thai Health Insurance are Exempt from this requirement provided that the Insurance Policy has a coverage amount of at least US$10,000.
4- COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate 5- Prior to Entry into Thailand, Travelers 18 years of age or older must be fully Vaccinated with an approved vaccine for at least 14 days COVID -19.
6- Unaccompanied Travelers ages 5-17 must be fully Vaccinated with at least one dose of an approved vaccine (Covid-19) at least 14 days prior to Entry into Thailand. Those Traveling accompanied by their Parents are Exempt from this requirement.
7- All Travelers who have had an Infection with COVID -19 who have recovered through Medical Treatment, as well as those Travelers who have received at least one dose of an approved Covid-19 vaccine after Infection, must have a Recovery Certificate from COVID -19.
All Travelers who are Unvaccinated or not fully Vaccinated against Covid-19 must Bring the Following Documents to Enter the Kingdom of Thailand:
1- A Valid Passport or a Pass for Entry through Border Checkpoints.
2- A Thailand Pass through the official website: https://tp.consular.go.th/, with Thai Nationals Exempt from this requirement. Once all the required information is provided through this system, the QR code will be issued automatically without waiting.
3- Thai Nationals and Foreign Travelers are Exempt from Insurance with coverage of at least US$10,000 as per the National Health Insurance in Thailand.
