Bangkok, Thailand, Ranked as Second Best City in the World
Bangkok, the Capital of Thailand, has been ranked the Best Second City in the World and the Best City in the Asia-Pacific Region for Digital Nomads in a new study by UK-based flexible working solutions provider The Instant Group, according to the Tourism Authority of Thailand.
Second was the Portuguese City of Lisbon in the World ranking of 80 Cities only for Digital Nomads. Bangkok, on the other hand, scored well in the key areas of Scenery, Weather, Affordability, Broadband Speed and Transport.
Yuthasak Supasorn, Governor of TAT, said this was a Tribute to Bangkok and Thailand, recognizing the Modernity, Connectivity and Affordability of the Thai Capital. It’s even more rewarding considering how well it complements Thailand’s Goal to grow the Digital Nomad Travel Sector as part of the ‘Visit Thailand Year 2022: Amazing New Chapters’ Campaign.”
Bangkok is one of the most modern and cosmopolitan cities with numerous Accommodations, Restaurants and Shopping Malls, as well as Religious and Historical sites for visitors and foreigners, etc.

The attractive happenings were supported by the wide range of Excellent Local Cuisine and Street Food presentation, the availability of more than 15,000 High-Speed Wi-Fi Hotspots, Good Transportation Facilities, and the Worldwide Availability of Accommodation at the Lowest Prices.
Bangkok was one of only two Asian Cities to appear in the Survey among the Top 10 Cities in the World, and the other Asian City was Seoul in 7th Place.
As has been Researched, there are about 35 Million Digital Nomads Worldwide, and with Remote Work, Advances in Technology and Workplace Culture, it is believed that this number could rise to one Billion by 2035.
Projections indicate that one in three workers Worldwide will be Nomadic.
Thailand offers the Most Popular Destinations for Digital Nomads with Phuket, Samui and Chiang Mai, as well as Bangkok.
